Irene Olkeriil

Irene Olkeriil is a visionary entrepreneur, cultural advocate, and one of Palau’s most dynamic voices in business and leadership. Her entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 13, and today, she is the Founder and CEO of EmeralDreams Services, a multifaceted business group encompassing space rentals, vacation homes, and four thriving subsidiaries: EmeralDreams Consulting, EmeralDreams Marketing, EmeralDreams PDR Agents, and Palau Blue Tours.

Beyond her own enterprises, Irene is deeply committed to uplifting others. She founded Palau Entrepreneurs for Growth (PEFG)—a national NGO dedicated to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs and strengthening locally-owned micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Through PEFG, Irene spearheads the DOUREOR CoWorking Spaces and entrepreneurial training initiatives that bridge traditional wisdom with digital innovation to build a stronger, more resilient Palauan economy.

Irene is also a public voice for private sector empowerment, known for co-hosting UDESUALL, a popular live radio and television talk show, and creating DOTAUT – Tekoi era Ureor (“Doing Business in Palau”), a televised business show that promotes entrepreneurship, community-based work, and the preservation of indigenous knowledge and Palauan cultural heritage.

A passionate advocate for sustainable development across the Pacific, Irene champions blue economy innovations that promote environmental stewardship and economic self-reliance for small island nations.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration–Management and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies, with a specialization in corporate and estate law, both earned in the United States.

In every role she plays—as a businesswoman, mother, mentor, public figure, private sector advocate, and cultural custodian—Irene Olkeriil embodies purpose-driven leadership and a relentless dedication to the future of Palau and the Pacific region.
