Conservation and Culture Experiences with Palau Blue Tours
At Palau Blue Tours, we believe every journey to Palau should leave a positive impact. Our conservation- and culture-focused tours combine adventure, education, and storytelling to create unforgettable experiences while inspiring a lifelong commitment to protecting our blue planet.
Before heading out on the water, guests are invited to watch our award-winning documentary, Palau, An Ocean Inheritance, followed by an engaging introduction to Palau's extraordinary marine biodiversity and its global leadership in ocean conservation. Learn how Palau became the world's first shark sanctuary, why the Palau National Marine Sanctuary protects 80% of the nation's waters, and how island communities are safeguarding one of the planet's most spectacular marine ecosystems.
Once on the water, our experienced local guides bring the ocean to life. Whether snorkeling, free-diving, or exploring the iconic Rock Islands, you'll discover vibrant coral reefs, tropical fish, sea turtles, and the remarkable biodiversity that makes Palau one of the world's premier marine destinations. As one of the few operators in Palau offering dedicated free-diving and paddle-boarding experiences, we provide a peaceful, low-impact way to connect with the underwater world while respecting marine life and fragile reef ecosystems.
Our tours also explore Palau's fascinating World War II history through visits to historic shipwrecks and aircraft wrecks that have been transformed into thriving artificial reefs. These living monuments demonstrate nature's incredible ability to heal, providing habitat for corals, reef fish, and countless marine species while preserving an important chapter of Palau's history.
Sustainability is woven into every aspect of our operations. We eliminate single-use plastics by providing reusable drinking cups, refillable water stations, and reusable serving trays for lunch, helping reduce waste in our oceans. Throughout the tour, we encourage guests to practice reef-safe snorkeling and free-diving techniques, respect wildlife, and collect any marine debris they encounter, turning every adventure into an opportunity to give back.
Our mission is to create extraordinary experiences that deepen your connection to Palau's people, culture, and ocean, leaving you not only with unforgettable memories, but also with the knowledge and inspiration to become a lifelong ambassador for marine conservation.
Land Cultural Tour
Our land cultural tours take you through Palau’s rich history and living traditions, from ancient stone monoliths and WWII sites to traditional meeting houses, farms, and waterfall trails. You’ll walk along ancient village stone paths, explore hand-built terraces, swim in waterfalls, and meet locals who keep Palauan culture alive. Along the way, we share fresh local foods and stories that connect you to the land and its people.

Our arts and music tours celebrate Palau’s creative spirit, offering guided tours of the Belau National Museum, live local music, a hands-on storyboard wood-carving workshop in a treehouse, and a street art tour to meet and connect with local Palauan artists. We end the evening at a vibrant night market filled with local food, handmade crafts, and one-of-a-kind treasures made by Palauan artisans.
